Resilience and Adaptation

PRC believes that resilience building and adaptation is the key to reducing climate induced vulnerabilities. Resilience building and adaptation measures across all sectors and layers are a must to sustain Nepal’s development gains. Agriculture, food security, water resources, energy and disaster risk reduction are important priority sectors that Nepal needs to invest in, while taking into consideration the importance of environmental protection. Resilience and adaptation actions need to be backed by evidences and based on participatory choices made by climate vulnerable communities.
