Climate and Development Dialogue (C&D Dialogue) organized the ‘National Conference on Climate and Development: Climate Justice - Resilient Development’ on November 27, 2023, in Kathmandu, Nepal. The primary objective of the conference was to collaboratively articulate the demand for the integration of climate agendas into the 16th Plan.

This is the proceeding report of the International Conference on 100% RE organized by Prakriti Resources Centre (PRC) and World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) Nepal along with the Alternative Energy Promotion Centre (AEPC) from 18–19 December 2022 in Kathmandu, Nepal. The conference aimed to share regional and international knowledge on the interrelationship between renewable energy and climate change and learn about implementing RE policies, plans, and projects.

C&D Dialogue has organized several capacity building events among its members and other stakeholders and engaged in key policy processes on climate change, namely National Climate Change Policy 2019, the 15th Plan and Second Nationally Determined Contribution of Nepal.The Dialogue has been constructively engaging in these policy process and continuously providing collective feedbacks in these processes. Recognizing and building on the knowledge through the “doing” of the practitioners, C&D Dialogue organized a conference on National Conference of Practitioners on Climate Change: Linking Practices to Policy on November 22, 2019 in Kathmandu. The conference reflected on good practices in climate change work and thereby sought to influence policy and practice in Nepal and expand this knowledge internationally as well.
