Low Carbon Development

PRC strongly believes that just transition to renewable energy from fossil fuels is possible and achievable. Nepal’s rich potential in hydropower, solar and other forms of renewable energy can serve the purpose of achieving high economic growth through transition to 100% renewable energy. PRC will work to engage stakeholders in building a discourse on low carbon development in Nepal and undertake policy interventions to mainstream low carbon development into the country’s development vision so as to achieve carbon neutrality.
