This project, spearheaded by the Prakriti Resources Centre (PRC), aims to strengthen Locally Led Adaptation (LLA) in Nepal by leveraging the country’s robust history of community-based planning (such as LAPAs and CAPAs). The initiative focuses on reforming institutional practices to ensure that climate finance is equitable, transparent, and accessible to those most vulnerable to climate change.

This approach is designed to challenge and reform traditional bureaucratic processes, ensuring that adaptation funding effectively reaches the local level while empowering communities to hold national and international climate finance actors accountable.
