On July 7, 2025, Prakriti Resources Centre successfully hosted the ‘Validation Workshop on the Learning Report: MAPs for Implementing NDCs with 100% Renewable Energy in Nepal’. The workshop brought together a dynamic Multi-Actor Partnership (MAP) platform, including government agencies, CSOs, I/NGOs, private institutions, researchers, and experts to reflect on key learnings and next steps for Nepal’s renewable energy journey.
The platform highlighted strong appreciation for the efforts in RE policy advocacy and echoed the urgency to translate policy asks into actionable outcomes. However, discussions also pointed out a decline in momentum post-project, emphasizing the critical need for a sustainable and functional MAP structure to steer Nepal towards 100% Renewable Energy and a Just Energy Transition.
