Sharing Program on Disaster, Displacement and Landlessness

A sharing program on Disaster, Displacement and Landlessness was organized by Prakriti Resources Centre (PRC) with the support of ActionAid Nepal on 29th December 2017. The main objective was to share the initial findings of the research and discuss on the issues of displacement and landlessness with wider stakeholders. A total of 32 participants from different organizations attended the programme.

Dr. Bishnu Bhandari, Member, National Reconstruction Authority (NRA), Mr. Gopal Giri, Under Secretary, Ministry of Land reform and Management and Ms. KalpanaKarki, CSRC were the guest speakers and forwarded their special remarks. Mr. Prabin Man Singh from PRC presented the initial findings of the research done in Rasuwa and Bardiya. The program was concluded with participants’ discussions.  Many had queries on the reconstruction process after earthquake 2015 while others gave their inputs and suggestions on the draft report.
